Lighting controls

Depending on the desired brightness, a lack of sunshine must be compensated for with the help of artificial light. In the KölnTriangle, an “intelligent” lighting control system does the job by switching on dimmed artificial light in precise amounts. The lighting control system also recognises whether people are in the office or not. That saves energy, and you no longer need to worry about adjusting the lights. Conventional light switches are a thing of the past.
Indoor comfort functions
Factors influencing the interior climate can be controlled conveniently from your desktop computer.
Many factors affect the room temperature, and must be compensated for constantly. In the KölnTriangle you can conveniently control the individual settings for each office with the help of a digital control panel, using your desktop computer. Change the room temperature, open the windows or adjust the sunshades as desired, without leaving your desk.
Air conditioning
A comfortable interior climate is the prerequisite for a positive mood and productivity in any company.
The innovative technological features of the facade of the KölnTriangle ensure pleasant temperatures. The south face of the tower in particular is protected from the sun’s rays with the help of a double facade.
A high-quality glass facade protects against the sun’s rays and reduces the temperature, protective blinds with a special coating effectively reflect sunlight, operable windows allow fresh air to enter individual offices, and active components built into the ceiling ensure pleasant temperatures.
You can also cool each office and each conference room as desired with the help of coils installed in the floor. This cooling system responds immediately to sudden changes in temperature on hot days, ensuring a pleasant, natural-feeling indoor climate – efficiently and economically.
Glare protection

The KölnTriangle features a second system to reduce glare that functions independently of the blinds. This way, you don’t have to close the blinds and obscure the excellent view. The glare protection shades can be adjusted quickly and easily. They are partially transparent, and perfectly match the design of the building’s interior as well as the outside facade. The overlapping feature of the shades doubles the protection.
Corridor dividing walls
Transparent and communicative, or opaque and undisturbed?
You decide, and you can adapt your workplace accordingly. The KölnTriangle features a modern, modular system of dividing walls that offer a variety of possibilities, from completely transparent to totally opaque, as standard equipment. They can be installed according to your individual wishes and floor plan. In the conference rooms, a system of slats built into the glass walls can be adjusted as desired.
Digital locks
Access to every area of the building is controlled using electronic keys.
An inconspicuous transponder can be used to control access, from the underground garage to your rental space. Changes can be made conveniently and without costly replacement of locks. Access can be limited to certain times or areas. If desired, the system can also be used to control access to office doors, cabinets and desks.
